Driving Directions

From the South

Karon, Kata, Naiharn

Come north along Beach Road in Patong. This road is also known as Route 4233. When you're about 2 long blocks from the north end of Patong, you'll see a white sand soccer field on the far right side of an intersection. Turn east there. Be careful of the side of the road you're on-- while most of Thailand requires that we drive on the left side of the road, this road requires that we drive on the right. Go east one block along this short two-block road that connects Beach Road to Rat-U-thit road.

On the left, you'll see a large bright green building and a bright green umbrella. Turn left/north here, into a narrow paved back road. If you get a parking slip from the staff at this corner, be sure to have the restaurant staff validate your parking slip so you don't have to pay for parking. Go in about a block, and look for Woody's Sandwich Shoppe on the left side. You've arrived!

From the East

Kathu & Phuket Town

Drive westward from Kathu town to Wat (Temple) Suwankiriwong at the top of Death Hill along Route 4029 (Phrabarami Road). Come down the hill slowly. At the bottom of the hill, you'll see a "T"-shaped intersection. On the far side of the intersection is a white wall with red right-pointing arrows painted on it, directing you to drive to the right.

This road will take you further east toward the beach. Go two or three blocks. You'll pass a traffic light. A long block before the beach, turn left (south) onto Rat-u-thit Road. Rat-u-thit is a one-way southbound road. Drive two or three blocks along it, watching on the left for Nicky's Handlebar (a bikers' pub), the Patong post office, Amanta House (a small hotel), and a 7-eleven convenience store.

You can either turn right just before the 7-eleven or just after, and then quickly right again. This leaves you on the narrow sidestreet that has Woody's Sandwich Shoppe on the east (beachward) side of the road, a short block from the south end of the street. Go find some parking, and remember that if you're in a car you'll receive a parking slip which our restaurant can validate.

From the Northwest

Kamala, Surin Beach, Bang Tao Beach

Come southward along Beach Road, also known as Route 4233. As you enter Patong, you'll come to a large intersection that forces you to turn left/eastward along Route 4029 (Phrabarami Road). South of this point, Route 4233 (Beach Road) becomes a one way northbound road.

Go eastward one or two blocks and then turn right (southward) onto Rat-u-thit Road.
